The importance of multiculturalism has been reflected in its institutions, organisations and communities where people of different races, religions and ethnicities live together in harmony. Tamworth is one of the cities in New South Wales that is known for its diversity. There are a number of multicultural organisations that operate within the city, each offering different benefits and activities to its members.
1. Tamworth Regional Multicultural Association(TRMA):
The TRMA is a non-profit organisation that promotes and encourages cultural diversity within the region. The organisation provides a platform for people from different cultural backgrounds to come together and celebrate their cultural heritage. The TRMA organises cultural festivals and events throughout the year, such as the Harmony Day festival, Eid festival and Diwali festival.
